Wish I would of took the time to think of a idea like that! Sold my 72 coupe before I bought my 16! Love the new one but miss the 72 more than my 2007 vert! And no I couldn't talk my soccer mom into building another garage, she had a 1500 sf. patio with fireplace built where I had my new garage staked out. I guess she wear's the pants in this family.

That looks like a legit "Force Field" protecting the car!! I have an old dog bed laying up against the 356 to protect it from incoming dings from the old Land Cruiser!!

I have a similar set up, mine is a towel wired to the garage door so that it hangs and positions itself against my wife's Camaro fender such that when I open the Corvette driver's door it touches the towel instead of her car. Works outstanding and is out of the way when the garage door is closed.
