If a member drives their Vette to the Museum do they do a complimentary clean up of the car?

It's not something that I've ever heard of. Where did you get the idea that the museum provided such a service?

I've never heard of that either. I suppose you could call them and ask about a wash, they'd probably refer you to someone though.

No they do not. There are several self wash places in the immediate area. Many NCM that I have attended, I spent the later part of the day at these hose down places cleaning the car.

I cannot find it on the new website but they had a plan where they would detail your car and sit it in the museum ......for a price.

Never heard that before. Our Corvette Club made a trip to the museum several years ago and I do not recall any of them stating that they had their cars cleaned.

Available, just not complimentary. The NCM Xperience is essentially the NCM Delivery for folks that already have a Vette. You get the VIP factory tour, NCM tour, and your car "receives an exterior cleaning" and is displayed in Corvette Hall with the delivery vehicles.

The Museum does provide some good services, but detailing your car just for stopping in isn't one of them.

I was pleased just to park in the "Corvettes Only" parking area. I have pictures of my C5 sitting there and then from a few years later my C7.

Yep, for $500 you can get the NCM to give your Corvette an exterior cleaning.

VIP Tour is $200 for a group up to 7. We were able to get with some other forum members and split the cost. Our guide was a retired assembly plant worker and was well worth the $$. Exterior clean and display on Corvette Blvd $300 add on. Think of it that way.

I will be visiting the museum on Monday (10/26) but won't have my C7. Also taking the public factory tour again. That never gets old.

I had mine detailed at the musuem inside and out, plus they put in a full tank of gas for only $900.00, plus they put it in the musuem and even roped it off.

No. How could they afford washing hundreds of Corvettes a week?
