C7 lowering price?
The data I get and is displayed in my post above only shows the C7 model, mileage, and what the C7 sold for, and location of the auction. There is much more data that is available to me, like the options on the C7, condition of the C7, repairs to made if any etc. I can't post all that information because it can be detailed. So the data presented here simply provides an idea of what the C7's are selling for at major auto auctions. There is a lot more data hidden into the auction data, that I can pull up and have access too.
Then there are incidental fees and costs. Sales tax costs are strictly dependent on the state that you reside with some at $0, some as high as 8%. Here in New Mexico our sales tax is 3%. On a $52,000 C7 the tax is additional $1560, another $100 for registration and plates. Also, consider dealer doc fees which most all dealers charge. MacMulkin is the only dealer I know of without dealer document fees. Then if you buy out of town, figure in transport costs, whether you fly and drive, or have the C7 transported.
In many cases the incidental costs will drive the underlying price paid for the C7 up from a base model that may be priced at $52,000 to $53,000.....thus pricing can be at the $56,000 to $57,000 area for a base model.
Of course, these incidental costs in most cases are unavoidable and a part of doing business.
