Default Another A8 Question
I have a 2015 Z-51 with the A8 and 2,400 miles. When driving say between 20-50mph if you punch it down the will take off and pull hard until you let off. When you let off the rpms stay up around 3-4 grand like the car is stuck in a lower gear. Then it will come down to normal but not for about 30 seconds. Does you car do this?

Normal. When you punch it the shift pattern changes to a performance mode.

:agree: plus, i believe when it is in performance shift, it will show you where the shift rpm's were by a blue or yellow line on the tach.

Mine did the exact same thing the first time I punched it entering the interstate. It was quite a thrill and a shock until I found out it is normal.
