Wait till a few months before your factor warranty expires. For some unknown reason you may trade the car before 3/36. Also, you do not want to show up at the Chev Dealer with a problem and not have a warranty. The parts for these cars are very expensive and labor continues to go up and up. As mentioned, do a search on this forum for extended warranties GMPP or GMEPP.

THIS. If You buy an extended warranty now, it will run concurrently with the factory warranty. Wait until the fact warr is almost up and then go for the GMPP. I bought mine for my C5 from Ken Fichtner who I believe is a forum member.
