2500 miles on my '16 2LT Coupe with the standard seats. No issues. Have taken 2 road trips of 1000 and 400 miles respectively. I'm 5'9", 185 lbs. and find the seats very comfortable. First Corvette so no way to compare to earlier versions.

My first vette was a 85 C4 manual after a few thousand miles you'd turn the radio up to get rid of the squeaks sold it with 45000 miles and bought a 95 Darker yellow 5speed M3 still have it
So far no rattles or squeaks in the C7 this is a different animal

I feel I was the biggest convert on here. Last vette I had was a '79 C3, 12 mo/12,000 mi warranty and the engine blew at 13th month with 6000 mi. After that and the bad reliability of S-10s, I hated all things Chevy and went all German performance cars....UNTIL I saw the C7 and all was forgiven.

4th week, 675 miles and other than the CEL coming on once and not again (a misfire), no squeaks, rattles or anything bad. You will absolutely love the performance, it eats everything else in and out of its class as well as killer looks.

I've never had so much fun with a car and I have had a lot of sports cars. I picked this over the not yet released '16 Mercedes C63 AMG Coupe on styling and sheer fun. BUY ONE!

I've described it as an erection with 4 wheels.

The car is a huge step up in every way from the C6's I had the in the past - handling, steering feel, power, everything. The interior is a nicer place to be, but yes, a bit tighter.

Now, I'm 6'6 and about 285. I fit fine, but did have to adjust my ingress ritual from the C6. Plus, there's a way to disconnect the seat limiter for even more room.

If you're used to a C5, there's no way around it, you're going to feel a bit tighter. But it's a great car and quite comfortable - even on long trips.

Hate to ask but what is the seat limiter, i am 5'10 about 220 so i can fit, u would think gm would have made the cabin bigger rather than smaller, go figure. Thanks for all who responded.

It's a pressure switch behind the seats. Lean the seats forward, lift up the carpeting, unplug it, and enjoy the extra inch of room

I had 2 C4's and liked the seats a lot. I also had 3 C5's and 5 C6's and hated the seats in all of them. I now have a C7 with competition seats w suede inserts and can absolutely say that the seats are fabulous.

We have the A8 and so far it has performed without a hitch. The engine is strong and I have hit a 100 on an on-ramp. So far we have averaged just over 25 mpg and have cruised for hours at 80 - 90 mph without any issues. The car has not burned any oil since we took delivery.

I am not planning on tracking the car, so I did not get the Z51 option package. However; since we had museum delivery and I wanted the Z51 spoiler, I had to get the MSR. In retrospect, I think this was a smart way to go.

As others have said, go sit in one. If you can drive one, all the better.
Interesting , My car is ordered with the Z51 body color spoiler ( code 5ZU) for just a $600 ( I think) upcharge. No other options required.

I would definitely recommend moving from a C5 to a C7. I had three C5's and LOVE my C7. I can't imagine why you wouldn't be thrilled. Pull the trigger!

It's a huge difference in trunk space between C5 and C7. Less width, less height, and no more under-hatch shelves. I carry some large items in my C5 (when going on vacation or heading to the gun range) and am definitely concerned about the C7. In the end, I will end up buying one anyway, but I will really miss the space. I suspect I will have to disassemble and then reassemble my rifle & my trap thrower, and will have to make luggage choices specific to the C7.

I drove the c7 2016 today, what a machine. The 460 hp with the a8 is a bad tide. Not as much room as my c5 but comfortable, not as much cargo space only one compartment verses 3 n the c5. It was new color blue race metalic with black interior would have looked better with gray int. My decision depends on what color to get. Price wasn't bad. Thanks for all u guys input, more to come

C7 is "tighter" although its interior is higher quality. Trunk space is less for the coupe though as I don't think a C7 could fit a regular size bike in the back without taking it apart. C7 doesn't seem to waste space, although I believe it is about the same size external as the C6.

I'm still on the fence if it is worth around $30k more compared to a 2013 C6.

Reliability is a concern especially with A8 transmission although supposedly GM upgraded it. I heard the paint will look better starting in 2017 or 2018. No more orange peel which is common on Vettes now.

I am concerned with the lack of room in the cabin verses my 01 and the recent top 5 CR results on reliabiality. I am not a huge guy but the seat room is much less than my current vette. Also is there an issue with overheating with the stringray like I have seen with the Z06. Overall are U pleased with your 2016. Pros and cons on your vette would be appreciated. Thanks
The C7 is three times the car my C5 was. So nothing to fret about. Quieter, smoother ride, etc. etc. etc. I could go on all day.

I believe the C7 coupe has 15 cubic feet in the rear hatch area, whereas the C6 coupe(includes the Z06, GS and ZR1)has 22 cubic feet and the C5 coupe(does not include the Z06) has 25 cubic feet.

I find size of rear hatch more than adequate on C7. We have put over 7000 miles on the car of which 90% or more is traveling on 1000 or more mile trips. We get 2 regular carry on airplane size suitcases in it plus our bag for bathroom items and have tons of space to spare for other stuff left. We just finished a 6300 mile, 21 day trip doing the entirety of route 66 and much more in my wife's 32 Ford three window coupe which has half the trunk space and 1/3 or so less people space of the C7 and had plenty of space and comfort. Just have to learn to live with what you have for space and enjoy the beautiful automobile the C7 is as we did the 32 ford on trip.
