MacMulkin is great, I was really happy I went with them as well. I was thinking of taking the ferry but drove the long way back to Sayville.
I was apprehensive myself, but after talking to a fellow corvette buddy who had done it before I went for it... The thing you have to do is request Priority Boarding ( costs $20.00 extra) and they take good care of you.. I asked them to put me in the back of the boat and there wasn't another car near me..
My '15 was shipped from BG to a local dealer, and MacMulkin is commended for their flawless execution of the deal. I appreciated the straightforward transaction, and significant discount-- not available locally.
Bought my first C7 there and will go straight back to them when it's time to pull the trigger again!
I wouldn't say no one would or could beat their price.
I received A $6,000 credit union discount,A USAA $750 discount at Kerbeck.
I have been a USAA member for forty years and the discount is no longer available. I'm happy they gave you an additional $750 off the vehicle, but it wasn't through USAA.
The discount comes from GM and unfortunately, they ended it.

I don't know why everyone doesn't buy from MacMulkin, I researched everyone in the top 10 dealers nationwide, and no one could, or would beat the MacMulkin price. Why would anyone pay a dealer fee which is nothing more than pure profit to the owner.
A 100% total straight forward dealer, they are the best !
I guess sum folks are willing to pay more than is necessary. Kinda makes ya wonder
My 2016 had a MSRP of ~$68K and I paid ~$60K at MacMulkin. The other two dealers that we hear a lot about here both wanted $2300 more than MacMulkin.
awesome congrats.. I have been saving my pennies and getting closer to pulling the trigger. You got a great discount off msrp. Did you have to negotiate much during the process? Did you tell them you were a corvetteforum member?

There was absolutely no negotiating. Made a blind call to salesman Mike Makarewicz because my last name ends in "ewicz" like his. He simply told me that at that time they were selling base cars for 11% off of MSRP and Z51 cars for 10% off. He also said they would accept the $750 credit union discount and that there are no additional fees. They even provided the temporary New Hampshire tags for free. Couldn't have been simpler.

WOW. Thanks for the info... that would sure be worth it for me even having to ship to Ga.

wish more dealers were like them, and/or wish they were closer to me.
Bought my 2013 from them. If/when I get a C7, it will be from them.

For some it is they want to buy local and avoid either paying extra to ship it if on the lot, or setting up a courtsy deal with a local dealer if ordered. Museum Delivery should not matter where you buy from.
I found it much easier to deal with Macmulkin then local, they had what I wanted on the lot also. Gave a great deal.
I rented a car and drove 7 hours one way, stayed in a hotel over night and picked up the car in the morning the next day then drove home in it. It was still considerbly cheaper to do that then to buy local or even have a shipping company bring it to me.
If you don't have the time to do that though then that is understandable.
