What's everyone's experience with the A8 and serious mods, 750-800 RWHP. Issues I need to know about? Thanks
I have a M7 on order..but the continued being put off on TPW has me considering exact same with A8 in stock and on sale.

I've done several research posts on the forum. The 8L90 has performed well in stock form on base all the way up to Z06. It is rated at 738 lb/ft input shaft torque. While the base has different clutches and different torque converters from the Z06, it is proving to be just as durable and I have seen no failures due to over powering. I know of several pushing 800+wheel. JTM is one of them. I check with him from time to time. He runs the car hard and so far so good. Search my posts about 4-6 months back for some good reading and good articles on the 8L90. It's been around for years in the GM trucks.
