Default Question for 2016 Nav Owners

Now that my GPS antenna was finally replaced (don't mind the red X over the GPS symbol in the photo- I was indoors, so there really was no GPS reception), I noticed something a little weird.

Instead of a little Corvette representing my location, there's just a generic arrow inside a circle. Any other 2016 owners seeing that?

That is what my Nav shows also. 2016 built June 29.

I wondered the same thing and could not find a setting to change it to a vehicle. I have a 16 also an it looks just like what is pictured in this thread. Jeep offers several variations of vehicles to choose from and i'm surprised GM does not do this.

Thanks. Good to know...
Was starting to wonder if they switched mine out for a unit from a Malibu or something!
Mine was built July 15. Software version 23415881.

Also surprised it doesn't speak the street names or have alternative voices. The voice sounds very computer generated and choppy compared to older Navs I have had, too.

2016 and same as noted, just an arrow. I happened to look the other day after reading about the little Easter egg where you see a puff of smoke out the back of the little car when you jump on it. I couldn't find a way to show it as a car and the generic arrow smoking it's tires would not be as cool. 😏

Yes... I saw the same post, which is what made me notice it was absent. Maybe GM needed to reclaim the 0.00001 kb of disk space consumed by that "Easter Egg" to make room for the "fancier" PDR icon.
