My 2016 'Deadpool' C7 Mod Thread :)

So let's start with a list of the mods I will be doing to the car in the coming months:
• Red Rim Guards.
• Re-skinning Console Lid in Suede.
• 20% Window Tint.
• Full Xpel Wrap.
• K&N Filter.
• Exposed Carbon Fiber Z06 Front Splitter.
• Exposed Carbon Fiber Z06 Side skirts.
I have some more mods in my head but I'm not certain if they will happen or not so I'll wait to list them until they happen.
First off here is the car as she sat on the dealers floor when I picked her up.
Tonight I finished the first mod on the car, the red rim guards. They look awesome IMHO and add an additional layer of protection against curb rash, I condition I am prone to. Here's some before/after photos of them.

The Best of Corvette for Corvette Enthusiasts

I'm perplexed as to why the BMWs always have so little gap in their wheel wells, but the corvette has such large ones, like a family sedan. I'm looking out my office window right now at a saab, and it has les wheel gap.
Adding lowering to my mod list..
Farley, it's a work of art. I came so close to going your route, so close, but got put off with the money outlay! What money? Red calipers, red stitching, dual roof, carbon hood, etc. I chickened out.
I really appreciate how you went through and checked all of the boxes.
Generally, when I see a c7 with the side skirts and splitter - I'm not thrilled. Why? I feel as though the c7 with the stock spoiler and body colored roof doesn't pull enough attention up from the lower details and gives the car a heavier, almost plumper appearance.
The same thing with carbon flash painted side mirrors; it interrupts the car form and takes away from the sleekness of the lines.
Except here, which is interesting to me. Here, by using the painted spoiler and mirrors, it helps to balance the details with the skirts and splitter. Add in the carbon roof, and it all comes together very nicely.
I'm just thinking out loud here. I have racing stripes on a white car and two roofs, I think I just convinced myself that I shouldn't have splitters and skirts - I was impressed with yours - but our cars are different. My car does not have the upper details to balance it out.
Anyway dude, it looks awesome.

They're called "wheel bands", they cost $100 for enough to do the whole car and come in many colors to match your application. Install is super easy, It took about an hour to install all four. You can also buy one wheel replacements for about $35 if you hit a curb.
