Light bulb upgrade
I bought a bunch of high output bulbs for the C-7
Does the C-7 already have these brighter bulbs for example in the license light interior lights etc.

No they don't! The license plate bulbs and the trunk light bulbs should be changed out to the brighter bulbs.

Where can you buy the light bulbs. Do you have part numbers or descriptions?

I bought these, they work great. I think I had two broken in the bag, but it wasn't worth sending them back, to me at least.

Are these bulbs for the trunk or license plate? I want to swap out the trunk lights so they match with the front interior LEDs.

Trunk and license plate, same fixture. I was too lazy to do the plate, the cargo area was easy.

I had a cover that was supposed to impair red light cameras. Hardly had it a day and security at Kirtland AFB saw it and ordered me to remove it.
One day my LE son saw me washing the car and the license plate and said don't bother with washing the plate. Don

Now that it's getting darker earlier I think I will darken up my licence plate bulb lenses, I put leds in there too, but they're too bright

My son took my tag off & sprayed it with some solution he got. It dried clear but at night, it's very rreflective and from even a short distance the numbers look washed out and unreadable.

License plate light
Went to do license lights saw no screws. went to forum manual listing and it shows slide light lens to the right and then drop down Had to get my plastic tools to get it to slide. After that no problem done.
Just a matter of what your tastes are as I like the white led lights.

I have been buying the 10 and 20 packs of T10 LED's off amazon for years, in other cars, it took 6-8 of them for the interior, plate, etc. The only downside is these burn out after a year or so but just pop another in and you're good for another year. Also remember these are polarity sensitive and sometimes the prongs need to be bent a bit better for contact.
