Default Lug Nut Socket? (Size?)

Might be a dumb question...

I have a TQ Wrench/ Breaker Bar and I need to get a lug nut socket for the thing.

I had one for my last car, but it was just slightly off, and I scuffed the lugs pretty bad over 5 years.

Anyone have a link to a good one from Amazon? (I only say amazon because I am 'prime')

How do you guys keep them scratch free?
I have black rims so I am hoping to get one that doesn't 'rub' on the outside of the lugs against the black paint.

I've got several sets like this:
Neiko 02410A Cr-V 7 Sockets 1/2" Drive Impact Socket Set with Protective Sleeves - Lug Nut Socket - Amazon.com Neiko 02410A Cr-V 7 Sockets 1/2" Drive Impact Socket Set with Protective Sleeves - Lug Nut Socket - Amazon.com

I keep one in each truck, one in the toolbox on the boat trailer, and one in the toolbox in the garage.

These are all standard and not wouldn't have a 19mm. (Though 3/4 is awfully close.

In the Q and A's it says both metrics and SAE are in the set including the 19mm one

SAE - 13/16", 7/8", 1", 1-1/16" & Metric - 17mm, 19mm, 21mm

Lots of less expensive sockets with thin plastic outer shell but still metal contacting the lug itself. I use one with hard plastic inner part that contacts the lug nut. Same one I used for my C6. Pricy but holds up well. Last I searched found on a Porsche accessory site that uses the same 19mm size. If for whatever reason you want protection from the outer shell, just wrap with electrical tape. Really no need as it doesn't contact the wheel.

Used for 5 years on C6 black lugs, works great on my C7 chrome lugs as well.

A regular socket is more likely to damage the lug nut than a deep socket.

I'm amazed that you wrote a paragraph but didn't answer the question. The next answer was better - 19mm.

Jeebus.
I didn't know exact one off the top of my head, but what I did know is that one of those fits my Vette; as well as all 11 vehicles in the paddock. Also, the sets that I have that are aluminum tend to do less damage to lugs over time than steel.
