When I plug my 1st SD card in to my PC, I had to click and download apps and click and trouble shoot... I got none of the info off my card 2 1/2 hours. I took it to Best Buy and they had the same issue. Now, plugging it back in to the Vette PDR port, it doesn't recognize there is a card in place...
I got a new card, recommended by Best Buys finest and I recorded a test on the way home, it played fine in the car but when I plug it in to the desktop, I cant even find it.
It would be great to have step by step instructions and would like accurate proper SD card to use, please.
Also, if you want to get some blank bufuddled looks and BS answers, ask vette people if the c7 LT1 has Forged or cast Pistons. No one knows? Which is it?
I would also appreciate a reputable experienced C7, HP tuner guy. I have a bolt-on ECS set up and crap for a tune. I am tired of being a guinea pig. I bought my own HP tuner Pro but I don't know crap about it.
I would like to race this season. Lack of tuning expertise caused me to miss the last one. Coughs and spudders at 4000ish rpms.
Thanks
Ray
According to the manual only 64 GB or smaller and formatted fat32. Most SD cards are no longer formatted as fat32. I would reformat the SD card just to be sure. Afterwards, test it out by copying some vids to it and playing from the card.
I'm also assuming your computer is properly recognizing the SD card? You can see it listed with a drive letter?
By the way, what operating system is running on your computer? I'm assuming Windows? Double clicking any recorded PDR file found on the card should open in Windows Media player. If not, the I would venture to guess that there may be an issue with the operating system or file extension association. Right clicking the PDR files and selecting Open with... will correct that.
The SD card is being recognized by the PDR? If not see my first paragraph.
That's all I can think of at the moment. Let me know how it goes.
