Nice look, but do you know the original reason for the "Heritage" Stripes. When they raced the 63 Corvette, on the front next to the headlights you had one car with one stripe, two car with two stripes and the third with three. Before the wide use of hand held radios, and helmet radios, this allowed the spotter(s) to identify the car head on, to report to the chalk board person (located a little further down the track) to write the number of that car for a pit stop or if the spotter so something wrong with the car...the chalk board was the text application back then.
So it looks nice, but being in the back really does not help, but its about the look, just a tidbit of information that I thought you would appreciate.

Stripes/No Stripes -- lots of different opinions out here. I personally like stripes and yours is totally unique from anything I've seen -- LOOKS GREAT!! - nice job
Thanks for all the info on the history of the stripes! I don't know any better than the fact that somehow I really like where they're placed. I actually had it on both sides now lol!
If people ask what's up with hash marks in the rear you can say they started out on the front but the car accelerates so hard that they were thrown back!!
In the world of hill climbs (at least in the North East US) fender stripes are used to identify the amateurs. You are required to have them on your car for your first year of racing.

This is probably the best and hilarious comment I've seen in this forum
