2016 C7 Muffler/NPP delete (Straight Pipe)

So after researching for hours and seeing C7Jake's car with the pictures and videos, and having personal experience with the straight pipes on my Boss 302, I decided to pull the trigger.

The only hard choice was if I wanted to get rid of the NPP, as much as I love the NPP, the sound is not as aggressive as I want it to be, I would give the NPPs a 6 out of 10 on a 1-10 aggressive sound scale. Anyway I got to drive the car a little after the install and must say it feels like a whole different car. The sound is on point not too loud or low, just on point!

I snapped few pics of the procedure with the before pic (NPP) then the muffler delete and welding, but since my car is at the shop, i couldn't snap a pic from behind of the finished product yet, but should be able to within the next week or so.

I got the Corsa 4.5" dual black tips

P.S A yellow/orange light came on in the upper right corner of the dash I think it said NC and it was crossed out. Not sure if this is an error code but when i turned the car off and back on..it disappeared. I will pull the NPP fuse out just in case next week as well.

I would give it a 9 in aggressiveness

Lol, the rumble is definitely perfect for a muscle car. Should have done this the first day I got the car!

Nice! I'd love to do this but I dd my C7 and leave at 5AM - don't think my neighbors would appreciate it. I leave the valves closed until I get out of the neighborhood.

haha i wouldn't do it if I had to leave at 5 am!

Fortunately I work from home so i don't have that issue!

If it wasn't for your neighbors, i'd say go for it!!!

it wasn't a check engine light. it was an error code i believe. When i turned the car off and back on again it disappeard

I knew in advance NPP was way to quiet.So I didn't get that mod.I took off the stock mufflers and replaced it with B&B.Couldn't have made out better.I'm anxious to know what muffler delete sounds like.No muffler at all.
