Somehow, the passenger side sill plate saying CORVETTE preceded by the Stingray emblem has a crease in it. I'm sure it could be easily tapped out off the car.
Can it be removed w/o damage and if so, how? Not interested in experimenting if someone has done it successfully. I have a set of the trim tools Glen E and others have used successfully. Thanks, Don
If it's a crease, I doubt you'll be able to fix it so it's not noticeable. The plates just pop out using one of those trim tools but they aren't very expensive so just change it.
I could by the new plates before for about $70.00 each but they now have gone up to $160.00 each. You can find new ones on ebay from $50.00-$100.00 that have been taken off new cars that replace them with the stingray sill plates. Good Luck

I see them being sold at $160 for a PAIR, not each.

I usually buy my GM parts from GM wholesale direct .com the cheapest NEW parts I can find. I thought they were sold individually when I punched in the part # but I could be wrong.
