Default Garage project

Recently decided to clean up my cluttered garage. That included patching, sanding and painting walls. Removing carpet from 1969 when the original owner glued and tacked it to the concrete. Fix plumbing to the garage bathroom. New LED fixtures. New flooring. New cabinets. A truly massive product. Couldn't have done it without the help of my girlfriend who spent 200+ hours in the garage helping me with it. I'll attach some before and after pics.

A bit more detail work to finish up. Things to hang on the walls etc, but the major work is pretty much complete. I'm very pleased so far.

Yeah, she parks outside. She doesn't mind. She leases her Lexus and is almost up for a change. Maybe when she picks up something new, I'll put it in the garage. There's room for it now

Most was put where it belongs. A lot was tossed. Some put up in the attic. Mostly needed major reorganizing. And I still have so much space left in the cabinets. The carpeting was a nightmare. Such a foolish idea. It had 50+ years of wetness and stains in it. It was a thin indoor/outdoor type. But still, it was so hideous and gross.

Sounds like a new reality show in the making, Garage Crashers! The cabinets look pretty high end too, where did they come from?

Of course, Arctic White is the crowning touch to a great make over!

The cabinets are made by a company called New Age Products I believe. I found the 8 piece set on overstock.com. They do exactly what I needed them to. Mounted to the walls like I have them, they will hold more weight than I could ever want, and provide a ton of storage.

Cowboys223,
That is an awesome transformation, congratulations on a great job.

It's a fitting place to park your toys, and enjoy them.

I did mine several years ago, painted floor and added Gladiator cabinets and workbench. Also have a 4 post lift to fit two cars in one space. I would have to spend two days cleaning to make it picture worry. LOL

I see tools with long handles hanging on the wall. I stay away from tools with long handles.

Nice conversion.
