Adrenaline Red match to Torch Red
I looked at a Torch Red corvette with Adrenaline red interior at the dealer in their showroom. I don't know if its the lights or what it sure looks like GM could of picked a better red to match the Torch Red. The Adrenaline looks like a milky red or like a faded red next to the Torch Red. Does it match in the sunlight or is that how it is?

I can tell you that when choosing my C7, my wife IMMEDIATELY noticed that the exterior red did NOT match the interior red.
That is why we have a totally black interior.

That's what my wife said too, I'm thinking it probably looks better in the sun. I was thinking maybe getting the black with the red inset, I'm going to see if I can find a dealer with one to look at.

If you want to see mismatched reds, check out any C6 with a red interior and a TORCH red exterior, which was reintroduced in 2010. Both Precision red (code 27) and Victory red (code 74) were offered for the 2005 model year, and closely matched the red insides. But when torch red was reintroduced for the 2010 model year, the color for the red interior remained the same. While mired in bankruptcy in 2009, GM must not have been willing to spend the dollars to develop a new red interior to match the Torch red (code 70) exterior which had been absent since the '04 model year. My '13 427 is stunning in Torch red, but the match with the red interior is disappointing to say the least. We think that my son's 427 is a real showstopper with its black exterior, black wheels, black top, red interior and red calipers. The red "427" callouts on the hood even seem to exactly match the red interior and calipers. When the C7s were introduced, we both liked the match of the red interiors and exteriors, but we're both keeping our C6s!

Is how I ended up with NRB and twilight blue interior.
She's still calling Laguna Blue "dirty hippy turquoise".

I will hopefully have a "fix" coming in the next week or two. It's a mod that will perfectly accent the Torch Red exterior.

I think the AR looks OK with the TR, but I would have preferred a TR interior to match the exterior.

I purchased a Torch Red C7. I went with the black interior because I did not like the Adrenaline Red juxtaposed to the Torch Red. Just did not look good to me and the wife. I solicited several opinions from various sales persons and other shoppers who were in the dealership. The opinion was unanimous for the black over the Adrenaline Red. Most of the comments were focused on the mismatched reds. JMO But, to each his own.

Just by the fact that you have two different textures, the color will always appear slightly different. In the shade or sun it will be noticeable. You can also see the difference in the way the light hits a color (you can see that behind the driver seat here on the waterfall). Man I love this car....
