Default Variable tachometer warning

Can't believe I just noticed it after a year of driving. The yellow warning on the tachometer moves proportionate to the temperature of the oil, or at least appears that way. Pretty cool.

I also noticed one day when the engine was not quite up to optimum temperature and I stomped it, two yellow circles appeared on the tachometer. I think one was at the initial rpm and the second at the current rpm?? They no longer appeared once the engine temperature was up.

Yep, lets you know you're getting close to the suggested max rpm, which increases as the temp increases. Occasionally see it as I make a left across the 4 lane divided highway near my home. Usually brake hard at that point to enter another rural road on the right about 100 yards from where I get on. At heavy trafic times don't have much choice or I'd be waiting all day!

During break in, it monitors mileage, then from then on changes with engine temp.
