Wait for the end of April (28th I believe) to hear what changes are coming to the 2017 model. So far there are only rumors with no specifics (eg. Autoweek claiming an 'updated' Corvette will come later in 2016).
You can only order a 2017 model around May mid-to-late next year.

They will preview the '17's at the bash in April, with all the information. Production will most likely start up in mid July, and maybe the new paint booth will be up by then.
