Default Magnetic question

I'm looking at a 2014 Z51 out of state and the dealer, not GM, doesn't know how to tell me if the car has Magnetic ride control or multi mode exhaust. How would I tell them to look? I'm a C5er and am clueless. No invoice no build sheet. Thanks.

They need to pull back the carpet in the rear passenger side, by the battery and check the RPO codes. I believe it should be FE4 for mag ride on 2014.

I was looking at some used vehicles the past few months, and I ask the dealers if it has mag ride and they say yes. I ask them to send me a pic of the RPO codes, and nope.....didn't have it.

NPP exhaust has all the tips together, while non NPP exhaust has smaller tips and an obvious gap between pipe 2 and pipe 3.

Magnetic shocks have wires coming out of them when you peek under the hood. There are pictures here if you search.

Hope this helps. Good luck! I had a C5 and a C6 and can tell you that the C7 is 1000 times better than either of my previous Vettes.

Even easier, mag ride shocks are black and standard are yellow. The even spacing (and larger tips) is the easiest way to see performance exhaust

I believe this is a standard (non-NPP) exhaust.

I'd ask for a picture of the RPO codes no matter what, so you can verify exactly what came on the car. I've seen so many of the cars listed on cars.com that provide little to no info on options.

Yep, ask for a pic of the Service Parts Identification sticker, it looks like this, and its in the back near the battery.

This vehicle is a 3LT Z51 7spd (vin# starting 1G1YL) with dual mode (NPP) and magnetic ride (FE4).
