I know many here don't agree with Consumer Reports but yesterday I got the new issue and the C7 is number one in the sporty car section under he heading Definitely Buy Again. The C-7 was higher than all Porsche's, Mustang, Mazda, etc.
I bought one of the first C-7 Convetibles having received my vert in Jan. 2014. I have had a couple minor issues with the screen but overall I would buy this car again. My advice to anyone on the fence is to buy the car. Yes - some people have had issues but the majority (like me) love the car, want to drive it daily, feel proud when people stop and look and love all the technology Chevy has built into it.
The CR information came from surveys of current owners so there is your answer. Jump off the fence and buy the car. You will not regret it.
No doubt that there are some flaws. Not any more than any other new car I would wager, but the worse offender appears to be cosmetic. The paint! Mechanically the car is good.
Mine is perfect, the paint, not so much, but that is not enough to stop me from buying again.
I know that this is not the idea of the article but most Corvette owners would buy again because they are Corvette nuts!
I know of guys who bashed the C6 and still bought another one, ranted about how hard the C4 was to get into and owned 3 of them...not to surprising to see the C7 owners say they would buy again. the Corvette following is far deeper than that of most other automobile brands. It is like herpes, can't every get rid of it.
That being said, YES, I would buy again...love this car.
GM provides a warranty to take care of any problems you have with your C-7. The car is overall the best corvette yet. If you are considering a C-7, go and drive one. You will find out what the rest of us C-7 owners know. It is an amazing car, light years ahead of the C-6.
How do U compare the interior room to the C5 or C6. Is is adequate or less roomy or do U just live with it. I am sure the seats are more confy but is it roomy enough to be able to long trip it. Thanks I am on the fence.

My C7 interior, while more compact, is much more comfortable than my C5. I've made 2,000 mile + trips in both and I prefer the C7 for ride and comfort.
I am 5'10" and fairly heavy and I previously owned a C6 (and a C5 and a C4). I cannot tell the difference in the room except it feels a little more "snug" when I am driving, but not uncomfortable. I have the 3LT option and the interior quality (particularly seating surfaces) is much better than my old C6, which was a 2007 2LT. Some taller guys have difficulty, but many of them are 1st time corvette owners who may have no experience with the C6 to make a comparison.
I have made a trip more than 2000 miles and had not issues.

It does seem a little smaller on the inside, but nothing uncomfortable. My 2012 GS 4lt is no comparison whatsoever to the 2015 3lt brownstone interior. We have 2 very nice new Cadillac's in our stable that we love very much but I like the materials (leather, suede) in the Vette best. Its hard to compare the interior of the C7 to the C6 because it is night and day difference. Truly Cadillac like.
Only issues I had with my old '14 was a bad door speaker and two hydraulic belt tensioners. It was just a plain 2LT with the only option being an A6 and I got a little bored with it. Went to a '15 Challenger Scat Pack for a year and came back to a '16 2LT with MRC and I'm very happy with it. Still the same little fit/finish issues and orange peel but its one of the few cars I've had that I just dont get tired of looking at.
I'm 6'4 225 and could use a timy bit more headroom, if the seat went an down an inch more I wouldnt complain but its not a major thing for me. Plenty of legroom and I dont mind the width.
I have owned my '14 since May 2014. It is my daily driver and has approximately 19,500 miles on it. I have not had a single problem with the car. Only been to the dealership for oil changes. I am 100% satisfied with the build quality of the entire car. I would not hesitate to buy another one or recommend a friend by a Vette.
