I just had 18% done today and it comes with a lifetime warranty. They said they've never had an issue with back windows and have done a lot of them.

My tinter had displays of all the 3M tint films with samples of each grade on panels to show the different in color and darkness. The Crystalline looked very close in gray compared to the 3M Color Stable (CS) tint film I had him apply. You should be able to get samples sent to you - I picked up a bunch of brochures of all the 3M tint films my tinter offers.
