Default Boost gage???

I've been told there is a boost gage built into the C7 DIC and that I should be able to access it some how to use with my SC.

Does anyone know how to access it. My vette is due back Saturday so not here to play with...just want to use it quickly Saturday.
Thanks

I doubt it, wouldn't make any sense for GM to do that.

No, you can only read 2lbs of boost with the LT1 MAF. You need an LT4 MAF and that means you also need to have your car retuned.

You can also use a Breakout cable like the below but it would still require a retune.

EDIT: as to whether the DIC is the same, it may be but I have never seen anyone get the DIC of the Stingray work with an aftermarket S/C. All the gauges I have seen require a separate boost display. Even if you could get it to work, without the LT4 MAF won't read over 2 lbs anyway.

Yes, Calvo is installing the breakout and doing a tune. The company that makes the breakout is located just down the street from Calvo is North Austin. . Calvo is who told me I could use the DIC. I just dont know how.

Does Calvo do this for customers? I'm sure it's technically possible, just not sure how difficult it would be. While it would be nice to have a boost gauge integrated into the DIC, it may be more trbule then its worth.

Good luck with this and keep us posted.
