You would need to order the parts for a M5U with extra capacity cooling V03. Be forewarned, there are two pipes that run through the left rocker panel and the rocker needs to be removed to install these pipes. Personally, I would buy just the cooler and whatever is necessary to mount it and use AN -6 hose.

No, I'm referring to the Performance Group part specifically for the A8, a larger cooler that simply replaces the stock one, without the forward mounted aux cooler. It was supposed to be available by January.

That should be the Z06 with M5U cooler, 23283460. You will also need to replace the inlet duct for the larger cooler,23212340. Fan 23267979 is the larger fan, but I'm not sure how it interfaces with an auto trans car, since the car I'm building is a manual trans car, but the smaller fan does mount to the larger cooler..

I think you are referring to the Z06 Large Core Transmission Cooler that is shown in the GM Performance Parts catalog page 48. It is part number 23283460 but it is listed for Manual Tranmission Z51 only and not for an A8.

I am not sure why this manual transmission larger cooler will fit in the Z51 rear fender and the Z06 A8 larger rear transmission cooler will not fit in the Z51 rear fender. I am sure it will remain a mystery.

Z06 1/4's and rear fascia are wider than Z51 parts. Give me a little time and I'll fit up a Z51 1/4 and rear fascia and see if it clears. Either way, you would probably need the get the correct cooler pipe assy (man or auto depending on the car) because the spacing between the ports on the cooler are further apart. My guess here why the catalog lists it for a manual trans is 1- that page in the catalog is for updating a Z51 man trans Stingray to a more track capable car. The Z doesn't use a fan on the trans or diff coolers although I installed fans on both. 2- man trans Z's have no provisions for fan control, I "think" auto trans have a module mounted near the fan/cooler and wiring provisions to control fan operation through the chassis control module.

Default Corvette z06 grille

STAY COOL WHILE HEATING

UP THE TRACK

2015 2016 C7 Corvette Genuine GM C7 Z06 Grille Carbon Flash With Front Cameras - GM (23334750)

NEW GENUINE GM 2014-2016 CORVETTE Z06 GRILLE FITS STINGRAY - GM (23507619)

The Z06 front grille was designed to provide maximum airflow to the radiator and brake cooling ducts. This resulted in a front-end airflow increase of 17% (based of CFD analysis) when compared to the Z51. That additional airflow can help keep your Stingray running cooler on the track. Additionally, the inlet ramps to the brake cooling ducts were optimized to balance the airflow demands of brake cooling and engine cooling.

So far the only pictures I have of the radiator installed is one from SEMA. Unfortunately I don't have an ETA at this time for the fan

Supposedly the Z06 fan is also a 600 watt fan. That is what I installed since I can not wait for GM to release the one in the performance catalog.

Default Corvette z06/z51 front brake ducts kit

INCREASED AIRFLOW FOR IMPROVED BRAKING

The available Z06/Z51 Front Brake Duct Cooling Kit for base model vehicles includes brake ducts and deflectors that transport air from the front grille through the wheel wells to effectively cool the front brakes and expel heat. This increases airflow by 16% (based of CFD analysis) to increase stopping performance by reducing temperature and brake fade. NOTE: Brake ducts performance is optimized when used with Z06 Grille Kit.
