You obviously have never been to Nevada! Look nothing's 100%. You can be on an enclosed course and a damn earthquake could happen! However it's demonstrable that people can and do take their cars to such places and achieve such speeds. If you're too afraid to do that then just admit it, step aside and let us continue to have our fun, OK?
Oh, and as it has been pointed out here - your vette ain't gonna be doing 200+ MPH anyway. Basically all of your "points" have been negated but something tells me you'll argue nonetheless...
I was at the Indy 500 in 1966 when they red flagged the race because a rabbit got on the track in turn #4.
A couple of years ago a NASCAR Cup race was red flagged because a rabbit got on the track.
Also, a couple of years ago, a human being got killed on a race track because he was standing in the middle of the track, during the race.
I've hit several small critters while driving 60 MPH on a highway, but I have never hit one while doing 150 MPH(or at 162 on the track).
Except that a stock C6 Z06 with ~455 rwhp(505BHP) will hit 198-199 MPH. I really doubt that it would take an additional 154rwhp to gain that additional one or twoMPH to hit 200.
Bench racing math brah, take it for what its worth. They guy asked, don't believe the math... check it for yourself. Just search bench racing for an app on any phone
Have a 1/2 mile event coming up next month I'm sure I'll be into the 180's....
Your profile doen't have your corvette specs, let me know what they are and I can plug them in.
The bench racing math says... and I warn you take it for its worth. As for the 2 options I but out before, assuming the A6 doesn't **** itself, and you can actually get traction, and you have slicks.
Post a pic or vid when you do and I'll believe you.
When a stock C6 is rated for 190 MPH with just under 400 RWHP I'm sure an extra 250 RWHP is enough for 10 MPH but whatever keep the pissing match going!!!
Quick I hit 200 MPH let me reach over and grab my camera and get that auto focus ready for the steady shot!!!

So, what is the top speed of these stock C7's?
Fast enough to loose your liscense. Get thrown in jail. Get killed. Take your pick.

Stock C6 Z top speed is faster than a stock C7 Z top speed... I think this has been well known for some time. Just as the base C6 is higher than the base C7.
No way that oil temp was 189 degrees at 200 mph. Probably a really good photochop.
Sure it could. The vast majority of C6 Z06's have the early design liquid to air oil cooler. If you look at the video at the beginning, running around 20-30 MPH, the oil temp is 183. 26 seconds later, at WOT, it has climbed to 189 degrees.
On a cool day, ~60-70 degrees, I have trouble getting my oil temp above 150 degrees and a short run of 26 seconds at WOT doesn't give the oil much time to heat up.

C6 GS A6 is 221 mph in the 1/2 mile
C6 Z06 M6 is 208 mph in the 1/2 mile
Something is wrong with your "Bench Racing" math.
The C6 GS coupe has the same areo drag as the C6 Z06 thus they should run the same speed with both having 1,300 HP(and both with the M6 transmission).
You show the GS A6 with a higher speed than the Z06 which is impossible since both would have the same horsepower. The GS will most likely have a lower speed as the A6 has a higher drive train loss vs the M6 in the Z06, thus less horsepower will be reaching the pavement with the A6.
Top speed by gearing alone for the GS A6 is 222 MPH in 5th gear at 6500 RPM where as the Z06 is 219 MPH at 7,000 RPM in 5th gear.
The overall gearing in 5th gear will actually help the Z06's accelleration as it is lower, but the 500 RPM higher redline in the Z06 makes the speed virtually identical.

You are right.. had a minor aero differences (user error) in the calculation (fixed) and I decided to get the HP closer, hard to do with the way this app works. Here is a screeny of the results.
Calculations are on WHP not crank, from a dig, street performance tires no drag radials.

How can two cars with the same identical frontal area and the same identical coefficient of drag, same identical tires, and the same identical horsepower have different speeds in the 1/4 mile, the 1/2 mile and the mile?
The Z06 weighs some 180 pounds less than the Grand Sport, so it should also accelerate quicker in the 1/4 mile, the 1/2 mile and the mile. The Z06 also has better front/rear weight distribution, so that should also help with traction from a dig.
With identical engines(same horsepower at the flywheel) the Z06 with it's M6 should have around 3% more horsepower at the rear wheels than the GS with it's A6. That alone should give the Z06 a higher speed over the GS with an A6.
