My car was built in August of 2015, picked it up in October. I just received the welcome kit and it did not have the leather pouch. My internal color was Brownstone. Did they change the kits?

"Gift" arrived Thursday.

The Book is less impressive than the box it comes in.
Still like the glass plaque that came with my '06 much better!

If you are the first owner of your C7 and have not received the 'gift package' of leather book in the color of your interior after 4-5 months or so, you can call GM customer service at 1-866-636-2273 and explain the situation. I did so about a week ago, they answered in about 5 seconds, I explained the situation and gave them my VIN. They looked it up and said it would be sent. I believe this happened in my case because I purchased from a dealer on the east coast and had the car shipped directly to me. Anyway, they were very helpful and I think the problem is solved. Hope this helps.

Yes, I believe originally all the colors were offered, and matched your interior. They substituted colors if the correct matching one wasn't available when your gift was shipped, but generally they were supposed to match your car. Now they just stopped with the sleeve all together, but if you have one it should technically match your car.

Really wishing I would have received a nice leather pouch but oh well life goes on. I PM'd GM and asked for one but I guess it's doubtful I will get one.
