Default Dash camera

Thinking about purchasing a falcon zero mirror mounted dash camera and was wondering if anyone has one of these installed what they think of it and pictures of it installed in your C7. Where did you get your power ? are there better choices ? I prefer not to have something stuck on windshield or top of dash unless they are inconspicuous. Thanks in advance for any help in making my choice. Camera going in a base 2014

I have one but it's too large for the mirror and keeps falling off.

I just turn on my PDR and keep it recording all the time...but if you have a 2014 without PDR, cobra makes an awesome dash cam CDR 900.

Me and a buddy of mine have been using BlackVue systems. Better in my opinion mainly because of the WiFi feature. Can stream live to you your phone or download OTA instead of having to remove the memory card.

PDR records all the time...but only for 99 minutes. Costco has a good price on the Cobra 840; I use it in my other two cars.

I have a GW1 dash cam it mounts with a suction cup to the windshield I placed it on the right side of the mirror hid the wire which runs from my center console up to the camera.

It uses a mini sd card and I have it on a 10 min loop if I should encounter something I want to keep I open the lid on the center arm rest and pull the plug.

Now the last 10 min is saved I can then install the mini card in a regular sd card housing then save it to my computer or I can play back on the screen on the camera.

The GW1 is suppose to have everything you need, got mine at spytech http://www.spytecinc.com/g1w-1080p-h...sh-camera.html

Installed blackvue this summer also. Love the features and wifi. The front is up behind he mirror so it's virtually invisible.

I saw a dash cam install where they pulled the power from the mirror. The cam would just power on/off with the car, it was pretty slick. No wires running up from the dash.
