I just have one word of advice on where NOT to stay, I stayed at the Home-Town Suites last year for the Anniversary deal. It was awful. (see the Hotels.com review I wrote at the time below) BTW, I had prepaid for this room. 
"This is an extended stay hotel, and not in good way. Unfortunately when we arrived, the clerk claimed our reservation was not available because they had changed their computer system. She repeatedly told me (not in an apologetic manner) that the systems had changed and she could not get it. I finally said that I did not care to hear about their internal problems. At this point she said I will get you a room. So the room was mostly OK, but it was equipped with a refrigerator which at random times made a loud noise that sounded like a vacuum cleaner. This lasted 10-20 minutes. The neighborhood was OK except for the people staying in this hotel that frequently hung out in the parking lot at night and looked a little seedy. At times we wanted to get into the hotel quickly at night because of the people hanging around outside. One day housekeeping came in to change out the towels and left the front door on our room opened. It was that way when we came back that afternoon. We had initially decided to stay over an extra night, but after all of this we went ahead and checked out as scheduled. There are plenty of good hotels in Bowling Green, this is not one of them."

Cancelled. Now booked at Microtel. Thanks for the info.

Now if you can get people to stop quoting a many picture post when they are the next one in the thread.
I have stayed at the Marriott Courtyard and Hilton Garden Inn, they are next to each other and off the main roads so they are quiet.

When I was in Bowling Green last June, I stayed at the La Quinta Inn and I was 100% satisfied. Rated #4 out of 33 in Bowling Green by TripAdvisor. Nice motel, with great breakfast, 10X nicer than the Super 8 north(where I have stayed a least 4-5 times in the past) that is rated #20.
I just checked LQ's site and they show rooms available, check in April 27 and check out May 1 at $100.80 senior rate.
