I'm wondering if anyone knows what date I would be able to order a 2017 ZO6 convertible and would I get it in July or August?
I live in WI if I would get it to late in the year to get much use I would order a 2016.

Also now that the ZO6 will be in its 3rd year do you think Dealers will be giving a good discount off of MSRP like 8%?

When I ordered my 15 I think the first day was around June 15.

USUALLY ordering begins around May 1st. Production usually starts around the 3rd week in June. Cars start shipping to Dealers Late July. More or Less.

Nope. Production of '15s began in early August of 2014. They began arriving at dealers late August.

The 2015 model year was late to production because of ongoing problems and delays due to A8 transmissions not functioning properly. This was an exception not the rule.

My 2016 was ordered in May following the Bash and Ordering Guide release. No prices at order time. Car was built in late June.

Shipped to dealer after Factory Hold end of July.

Just an additional thought.

There should be new colors for 2016. Traditionally the new colors are phased in thru constraints(limits on builds).

A new color might take longer to be built.

That is simply not true. We knew at least mid-June of 2014 that 2015 production would start August 11. The following was posted by me on 6/16/2014. The August 11 start date was Chevy's plan all along. A few actually rolled off the line before 8/11.

At some point the 2016 orders not filled will be cancelled, and will need to be reordered as 2017, this happened to me in 2015. I think the date was early April. Reorders could be done but I don't think they would accept any until early May.
