Default Tire/Wheel Size

I ordered a new stingray yesterday and went with the 18/19 wheels and tire size. Second guessing my choice, will this tire and wheel size look to small? I am wondering if I should have gone with the 19/20 size. Does the z51 and z06 have the 19/20 size. I may see if it possible to change the order before it goes to production. Thanks guys for your opinions.

Yes the Z51 has 19/20's as does the Z06, and the base model with the magnetic ride option. (it requires the 19/20 wheels).

Do the 18/19's look too small? No. but I've got a Z51.

They are NOT smaller! They are different tire aspect ratio's.
From Tirerack; your 18 inch fronts are 25.7 OD, the 19 inch Z51's are 25.8 inches OD
Your rear 19 inch are 26.9 inch OD and the 20 inch Z51's are 26.5 inch OD, in fact almost a 1/2 inch smaller!
Some folks who want to have a "fuller" look lower the suspension, which is easy to do. I don't because the car is low enough and nothing will ever look like my ProStreet Rod tires so why bother!

Pro Street Rod, 8.2 Liter engine, 16 inch section width rears. Both front and rear tucked up into the fenders!

I think 18/19's look pretty good. You'll also get a smoother ride and more mileage as opposed to 19/20's from what I have been told.

Just as the previous posters said; the wheel/tire combo remains basically the same size. I particularly chose the base model over the Z51 exactly because I wanted the 18 & 19 wheel sizes. They give you 0.5 inch more sidewall that is much better suited for street driving. Better ride, as well as better pothole protection. As to performance, for driving over public roads, the difference would be undetectable even at the hardest driving.

These are repro wheels in 18 & 19" in black chrome.

Since both sizes are equipped with run flats, there is not really much difference in ride quality (softness) with the larger sidewall on the 18/19's. With non run flats, the higher sidewall would definitely have a noticeable difference in the ride. Because the run flat sidewalls are so stiff, there is very little difference in ride due solely to the higher sidewall. You would get much more difference by switching either size from run flats to non run flats.
