After the old assh*le who wears the straw hat and runs the incoming parking yelled in my face I have refused (along with 12 others) to return to the bash. Put old codgers like that in charge and lose money....oh well.

That's unfortunate. As an NCM Ambassador, I will let leadership know about this. The parking lot attendants are volunteers, but that's no excuse for rude behavior. In most organizations, it's hard to get volunteers, so sometimes organizations take what they can get and unfortunately you were on the negative end of that. I hope you and your friends will return again. I always have a blast and have never been treated rudely by any volunteers I have had interaction with.

I've been to the Bash several times and always had a good time. I would give it another chance.

I've experienced that a couple of times as well. We live on the west coast so driving my Corvette to the bash isn't an option for us. As a result, we have a rental car that (sadly) isn't a Corvette. The guy at the entrance to the parking lot made it pretty clear that in his mind we were second class attendees. I made it a point to mention this when I completed the post-bash online survey.

Move ?
Sounds like it's time to move south. Some place with much milder weather. North Carolina or Eastern Tennessee come to mind. Absolutely wonderful twisty back roads to drive on. They only have an occasional snow storm to put up with. One can only imagine what the Snake or Dragon's Tail looks like right now.

Not going to make the Bash this year as our club is going in May. Will watch for your reports.

For us Canadians, we hate winter so much that when we move south we go all the way and don't mess around with any of the states that might get the occasional snow storm (like Tennessee or Texas for instance) When we make that big move we just like to go straight to southern Florida, which has pretty much a zero percent chance of ever getting a massive snowstorm. Sure, we don't get the twisty roads down there, but I'm still looking forward to bringing my Corvette with me in the winter when I retire (whichever generation it might be at that time, as I still have about 10-12 years to go before retiring) I know someone who recently moved from Michigan to Tennessee in order to escape the winter and he recently had to deal with a pretty substantial snowstorm.
