Trying to tie down options on my order, I have been flipping around between Kalahari, Jet Black, Spice Red, Brownstone... and I have had a hard time finding good photos of the different interiors (other than the computer generated ones on GM's build site). Some look entirely different in person than on the GM site.
I thought others may benefit from a thread that is nothing but C7 interiors.
Here are a few photos to get this started. I hope others post some too.
Took these today. Competition seats, 3LZ, Jet Black with Red Stitching
Here are some I got off Google of the rare Brownstone interior:
Spice Red package, from Google (these look a lot brighter than GM's site pics):
Be aware that for 2016 the Kalahari 3LT no longer has a full dash in that color. It's now like all the other combinations, with a black dash and a colored band coming up from the console hand grip and over the instrument binnacle.
Hey Tork,
I have a 2016 Long Beach Red with the Brownstone and I see you are in Seattle. Give me a shout out if you want to meet up and see it? What exterior color are you getting?
Mike
We have jet black with red stitching on our TR car. Didn't have a choice as it was an inventory car that had everything else on it we wanted so we took it. I like it.
My vote goes to a two tone interior. I've had so many cars with all black and it's really hot in the summer and very boring. I have Kalahari and absolutely love it. The red and black looks amazing too. Not a big fan of Brownstone but you have to see it in person. Blue interior?
Does anyone know what the default stitching color is on the steering wheel when an Adrenaline Red interior is selected?
It's red stitching with adrenaline red interior, correct? I never saw an option when I submitted my build to select a red stitching color for the steering wheel and assumed that red was default...

The black was not my first choice either. I had a C4 years ago with black leather and it would get so damn hot the plastics in the interior would start to warp.
However, the black with red stitching is my current favorite. It seems to make the black plastic pieces blend in more. I would have to change those out with the Kalahari. Carravagio makes some beautiful upgrades, including the steering wheels; however, I am concerned that I would be chasing that for thousand$ before I was happy.
Brownstone is the only one that changes all the interior- brown suede on the console, on the dash; brown carpeting... could be beautiful, but I don't think it would match well with Shark Gray.
Too many choices to make it easy...

That's too bad, because that ruins it for me. Rather have a solid black dash then.

And i like it a lot more than the previous years 3LT since it is not so overwhelming tan all over the dash...
Brownstone is also very nice... I would avoid BLACK due to heat considerations... although i am also partial to the two tone setups.

That's not quite true. The Brownstone has the full dash in Brownstone. Spice Red and Twilight Blue packages also get full dash in color.
Is there any way to use the override and get the Twilight Blue leather with a Yellow exterior on the 3LT? I don't see a way to select those options together on the configuration tool online.
