Finally after over a year of looking at and researching the C7, I finally bought one this past weekend! Found a great deal on a used one in Kansas and drove it all the way back home to MD with a pit stop in Chicago to check out the city.
I will use this thread to keep track of my build and share some pics/videos. I don't have anything crazy planned for it since it will be my DD. Probably just bolt-ons and some Z06 aero bits. I am planning on taking it down to the Tail of the Dragon in May, so I should have some great stuff to share after that.
Here are the details on my 2014 Laguna Blue C7 7MT:
You'll enjoy driving the Dragon. There are lots of great roads in that area, so do some research in advance. I spent two days in that area last summer. Great time!
It is the new Corvette Forum option....it comes with all the nay sayers posts inscribed on the roof.
Nice car, btw. Enjoy your new C7.
And, might I suggest, either cover the retainer or get a Z06 grille.

I'm already aware of them. I spent an entire week down there last year with my 370Z. Probably the most fun I've ever had driving.

Thanks! Yeah the Z06 grill and front splitter are both on my list of future mods.
Installed the Corsa Xtreme axleback exhaust yesterday. Will update this with a better picture soon and plan on making a video of my own once the weather gets warmer. Loving the Corsa so far and I think it has the perfect volume balance for a DD. Not too loud when you're driving normally, but it screams when you get on the throttle hard.
My car is shark gray, but laguna blue is my favorite color! Love it.
Life's more fun when you have a sense of humor
I can guarantee this car won't be one that just sits in the garage most the time and then babied when on the road. I'm gonna drive it every day and carve up some backroads every chance I get. Might see a bit of track time in the future as well.
