So, I got a the new iphone 6s Plus (with the dreaded 9.2IOS "upgrade". My issue is that when using the Maps on the phone, it will NOT give turn by turn voice commands either through the stereo OR through the phone speaker. It is totally mute. If you cut off the Bluetooth in the car then it will come through the phone speaker. Is there any trickery in settings that I haven't figured out to get the voice commands through the stereo speakers?
Do you have the input set to Bluetooth in the car? Press the media button until it's on Bluetooth. Make sure your phone volume is up too.
Also, on the map app, tap the screen, on the lower right there's a speaker icon. Click that and check those settings.
OK, that worked, thanks. Now the problem is that there's no music....
Isn't there a way for Maps to work (with voice commands) while still playing music? I have my ipod plugged into a usb port behind the infotainment screen. When you move the menu to Bluetooth (on the car menu), that cuts off the ipod.
