Sorry I'm about to introduce myself and post a general topic at once !
Located in Miami I just bought my 15' c7 three days ago and I'm in-****ing-love with this masterpiece.
Now going to the topic, since I bought it slightly used with 3k miles, the exhaust tips are pretty dirty.
Any tips on how to polish them or get them shiny again ? Thank you all
When they are that dirty do this:
1. Wash with soap first, then wipe them down with alcohol.scrub with soft toothbrush.
2. Then with metal polish from auto parts store scrub on them with a cheap microfiber (because you will trash it)
3. Once clean, Then get a mothers powercone and polish again with your drill, The hand cannot move at 800 RPM, which is what you need to make them really shine.

Wow this is great, totally following your advice. Thank you
Congratulations on your Vette. I am certain you will enjoy owning it.
I own also own an Arctic White Stingray.
For the last several years I have used semi-chrome paste that comes in a kit with another paste, towel, and a powerball. There are a few vendors that sell a kit. It takes about 30 minutes to do all four tips and will keep the tips very clean with little effort for a year to two years.
If I can find one of the companies that sell the kit I will PM you a link.

I agree with Glen E. You may also want to consider adding a carbon flash exhaust filler panel to your C7. Very easy to install, and, really finishes off the look.
I use a similar approach as Glen's, with the polishing cone a couple times per season. In between, I clean my tips at every wash, which occurs usually weekly. It's really not hard to keep them nice.

Yea shame on the previous owner, now this baby is getting much more love
I think he means they are flared from the inside to the outer edge, in which case both styles have an inner flange that benefits from polishing. The NPP has a trumpet style flare that the non NPP does not.
