Default Headers or smaller mods?

I got a bonus at work, and now I don't know what to do!

I could get headers only, or a bunch of smaller items (z51 bars, mgw shifter, paint brake calipers, carbon fiber interior, cold air intake)

Convince me

I'd take all of the smaller stuff over headers. The shifter, sway bars and CAI are good mechanical upgrades that you'll really enjoy everyday and the cf interior looks killer.

I would agree with going with the smaller mods. You have to decide on looks or performance.
For me 460hp is enough so I would go for the visual mods.

Intake
Ported throttle body
Ported OEM intake manifold
Ported/coated OEM exhaust manifolds
Catless X-pipe
Zip shifter bushings

Those are my reasonably priced mod recommendations

Did you do these on yours? Where did you get them done?

I think I too would go with the smaller mods. The car runs great the way it is.

Kracka speaks the truth, this is a very good path. Will increase your driving enjoyment, at least for awhile. Kept me happy for 2 years: now have LG Pro Stepped LT's going on and looking for a ported Intake Manifold. And if the good Lord is willing, Procharger is on my wish list

never been into the small mod thing. I go for bigger stuff. Like rims or exhaust.

Dovervold here is a link to the original build thread. This C7 drives EXTREMELY well and makes excellent power over stock. I am sure Anthony ( owner) will chime in with his thoughts as well.
