We go out to Vegas every year, and spend 95% of our time off the strip. Valley of fire, red rock canyon, Mt. Charleston, Death Valley, etc. every time we go I wish I had my car with me. Awesome pics, nice car too.

I would love to move outside of Vegas sometime, unfortunately I feel stuck where I am owning my business.

Sounds like a good trip to take. Last time I was traveling through Death Valley was during August and it was scorching hot.

I love Death Valley, been there many times. In 2014 my Western Scenic Tour visited there and we stopped in at Scotty's Castle. If you have never been there its a must see. They have 3 or 4 tours that you can take.

As I recall they also had some severe floods come through Scotty's Castle last year and did some damage so I'm not sure if its currently open.

Talked to one of the park rangers at the Furnace Creek Visitor Center--Another year until Scotty's Castle will reopen. However, when it reopens, it is very worthwhile to see.

Great looking Vette, live the vanity plate, and the black & white Jake decals are perfectly placed

Op, thanks for the post. Will be in Vegas this Friday. Doing spring mountain Monday and Tuesday. Due to your post my wife and I will be getting up Sunday morning and driving to Death Valley on our way to spring mountain for Sunday night. Looking forward to seeing the wild flowers. We rented a bmw convertible so should be nice ride, just not as nice as you in the vette.

You will love the C7 course at Spring Mountain. Rick Malone and his staff are top notch. Enjoy the ride to Death Valley Be sure to stop at the visitor center in Furnace Creek to get an update on the blooming flowers.
