To the OP, there were TONS of threads about a certain vendor that is supposed to be coming out with one. All those threads were locked or deleted and the vendor prohibited from posting for now. So Caveot Emptor.
I have in my possession another product that will do phone mirroring and front camera support. I plan on installing it and seeing how well it works but it has some major shortcomings. One being, it is NOT plug and play but I am trying to build a harness to make it plug and play. The second is that it is rather a hard install as the dash cover must be removed. The third is that they provide a exposed printed circuit sub-board and they do not mount it in any case which is ridiculous. There are videos of this product out there installed in a real vette.
Dennis @ Double-D Mods was working last year with the makers of Curb alert that had a front camera solution but nothing yet.
There are a gazzilion threads on other techniques. Search is your friend. Some mount a small TFTP display in the cubby storage behind the screen. Some are going to mount the screen on top the visor. I have one just one the console for now.

Here is a thread showing the apparent first install of the Navtool interface that will mirror your phone as well as accept front and side camera inputs.Still have to get your own cameras.
In-before the damage done by ripping the dash and everything apart is greater than a small scrape you get on the front lip by actually hitting a curb, assuming you ever hit one...
I added a front camera, use it all the time. Its not just for curbs, I can tell how close I am to another car in a parking lot as well. I use it every time I drive into my garage, too, to park close yet leave room to pass. My next task is to learn how to drive.
I'll be honest, I've never used a Curb Alert, but I think a front camera is the way to go. What's better, a beep or a real time visual image of what's actually there in front of your car? I'm just saying.

Does the image from your govue orient for front camera viewing? I went to their website and found all their cameras were rearview by their discription.
A curb alert is useful, but it doesn't always work. For example, where there's a curb cut for handicapped access where the CA is aimed, but a higher curb to the right or left. It also doesn't always trigger with diagonal spaces. But it is better than nothing.
