I am among the ranks of those having problems with the i phone connectivity to the infotainment system (bluetooth). Also aware of the ongoing finger pointing between GM and Apple regarding this issue.
Does anyone know if this problem extends to other GM vehicles or is it just Corvette?? Considering trading the car for Yukon Denali but don't want to go thru this again....comments?
It has been reported in this forum that the problem (apparently introduced with an iOS update 9.2.1?) has actually impacted not only GM but other auto manufacturers as well. There have also been reports that the 9.3 beta release has fixed the issue. Based on the fact that more than GM was impacted and that 9.3 beta fixes the problem, there is no need to point fingers. It is an Apple problem.
I have 9.2.1 and it works great with my C7 Bluetooth. My 4,000 songs play just fine from my I-Tunes library. I don't use Pandora or any other music service so I'm not sure what the real issue is.
PS....My C7 is a 2014.

The problems occur when using other iPhone functions. See these threads:

Man iPhones must really suck. I'm an Android guy. Generally I have no problems with bluetooth. Occasionally it disconnects or fails to connect because it's still connected to my bluetooth headset but by and large no problems with bluetooth.

Perhaps you should get a real phone...
You must be correct according to the threads listed in post #5 (above). Bottom line: If you have an i phone don't try to connect to BT. I am car shopping at the moment, so it looks like I will have to eliminate GM products from the list.
I have a 2016 C7 and an iPhone 6+ that has been updated to ios 9.2.1.
I have had the car since October and have had zero blue tooth problems and zero apple car play problems.

Is it just me or do others also lose all audio from the phone itself while connected to Bluetooth? Like text messages or audio from apps. The phone goes completely mute and only when playing the audio stream on Bluetooth do I hear it. My Ford Fusion and Nissan Armada don't do this when connected to Bluetooth.
ios 9.3 beta 3+ fixes it, at least as well as it worked in ios 9.1. 9.3 final release should be in 2-3 weeks. Takes 30 seconds to sign up for apple public betas if you cant wait a few weeks. The current 9.3 beta 4 is pretty stable and you can ditch the beta program once 9.3 is released.
There were new HFP and bluetooth standards that were rolled out in 9.2 that jacked up all kinds of bluetooth devices, not just GM cars/trucks.
