Driver door won't open-2016 Corvette

folks just got my new corvette and I did not slam the door hard and the door is half way in .when I put my hand on the lock it won't open need help please !!!!

Push on the door to completely close it

Then it should open as per normal

Try the remote release located in the back right side under the rear hatch.

Open the passenger door and us ethe lever on the floor of the driver's side, or perhaps the remote fob to unlock?

Should have waited for a 2017 Grand Sport. I hear the doors will work better on it.

Go in through the passenger side, and open the driver's door, if no luck with above options, with the exception of waiting for the Grand Sport!

Try pushing the door to the complete shut position (try bumping it with your hip). If it won't, it sounds like your seatbelt is stuck in the door.

Just hold the door open button down and pull on the door at the same time. Since the door did not shut completely, you do not have the compressed weatherstripping to help pop it open.
