Default Acquiring Corvette #4

May I sing the praises of Amoni and Kerbeck? Indeed I do. After selling my C6 Z51 five years ago, it was love at first sight when the C7 was introduced. I held off as long as I could, but finally succumbed when a Shark Gray Metallic cruised by me in January.

Though I live in Destin, FL, I have always wanted to try a buy through Kerbeck Corvette. Once I had gathered the funds, I picked up the phone and called. Amoni answered. I had been watching their inventory online and could see they recently sold the 1LT Z51 Auto Shark Gray/Black combo I wanted, so I was prepared to wait a while. Then Fate intervened. "One is just coming off the truck," he said. We quickly talked price. I said "Yes." Fifteen minutes later I had a purchase order via email. The next morning, I wired the funds.

Two days later I flew in and Amoni arranged for Henry, Kerbeck's truly professional courtesy car driver, to meet me in Baggage Claim at PHL. He was parked 75 feet away and off we went to Atlantic City, stopping for a quick lunch enroute.

Henry handed me off to Amoni on arrival, who had the car and the paperwork ready to go. But he patiently slowed me down long enough to give me a thorough orientation of my new car, I signed the Kerbeck-prepared paperwork that was ready, downed some complementary pizza, toured their Museum-like large showroom, made sure I got the necessary photo shots, and off I went down the East Coast to Destin (performing the 500 mile service as soon as I got home at Preston Hood Chevrolet, who do a great job here locally).

FYI: This car is destined to be a touring and traveling machine. So driving it down the East Coast was all part of the Pre-Planned Journey for this C&. No hangar queen this one. Sure, added Lloyds mats, Tech Armor to the screen, and currently shopping for carbon fiber side skirts. After that, it's clay bar, clean, Zaino, polish, drive, polish...well, you get the picture.

Before I left Kerbeck in Atlantic City, Amoni said, "Call any time, no matter has minuscule the matter may be."

Naturally, I have had a few follow up questions that would be too embarrassed to ask here on CF, so I decided to test Amoni by calling him at a most inconvenient time--dinner time on a Saturday night. Amoni picked up on his private cell phone immediately and patiently answered my questions, giving me the expanded background as well--repeating again to call him any time.

Thanks, Amoni and Kerbeck for a first class sale all the way.

Here's shot departing Kerbeck and a shot at the first rest stop down I-95...

Congrats and way to go Amoni...still proves quality sales is a profession and these people do exist in the car business!! Before just wandering into any dealer, consult the sponsors here on CF!!

I bought from Kerbeck last April and Sam Kelly was my salesman who also was a total pro. When I picked up my car, their inventory was very low so on the sales floor they had a bunch of classic vettes.

Beautiful Vette and beautiful place to cruise around with it. We just left Destin yesterday, that is where we spend our Winters or most of it. Anyhow enjoy it.
