Default Used C7 pricing

I've been looking for a used C7 on CARS.COM but the prices seem high compared to new pricing. So there following is an example. Do you agree that this pricing is high?

Body Style: Convertible
Doors: 2
Exterior Color: Black
Fuel Type: Gasoline
Engine: Gas V8 6.2L/376
Transmission: 6-Speed Automatic

Corvettes depreciate slowly. Yours will too.

At first I wanted to get a used C7 but the prices were high so I bought a 16. It is great that the resale value has been good but I don't think it will continue.

About average, I think with some searching in other areas you can get one for around $63,000. I found a '15 with Z51, 3lt and under 1,000 miles on Autotrader for $64,900 ish.
There are many sellers of used Corvettes, I would try a few more before I give up due to cost.
If the price is scaring you try one with fewer options. Things like 2lt or a coupe will lower the price a bit. As spring is coming the dealers are going to ask higher prices because of the nice weather. January is a great moth to shop sports cars, March, April not so good.

I paid $61,250 for my 2014 premier edition convertible with 2700 miles last July.

The MSRP was $77K.

how is it that we have two threads regarding the same subject but one saying they're cheap and one saying they're expensive?

I will show my story on a used 2014 Vette that I had recently. I had been "playing" on car websites around Christmas time, just for something to pass the time. I had found my 2011 GS with 3012 miles that way in early 2014. Well I stumbled onto a 2014 base coupe, auto, 3LT, chrome rims, NPP exh, transparent roof, suede microfiber seat inserts, My Link NAV, Z51 spoiler, battery protection package. What piqued my curiosity was that it was Laguna Blue, the color my wife and I were going to order for our 2015 Vette (our 45th anniversary) and it had only 1978 miles on it. This car was optioned higher then we were going to order, mainly because we could not afford the car with what options we really wanted, and only the interior color was different from what we "built" on the Chevrolet site. At the risk of making an already to long, to detailed answer to your original question, the final comment is this. The dealer with the car (original ordering/selling dealer) had it listed for just over $57,000 and he lowered it to $53,000. I had told him I had two dealers that would sell me a base 2016 1LT, auto, NAV coupe, in stock, for just over $52,000. While I felt the 2014 at $53,000 was overpriced (it was compatable with 3 or 4 other dealers on the internet with the same options and near mileage) I did not feel buying a 2016 with way less options, for the same money was worth it.

I can only say paying over $60K for a 2014 seems high to me.
As an example, Criswell has a Z51, 2LT, M7 vert for under $56K right now. I've seen several Z51, auto, 3LT coupes at $55K or less. Keep in mind, I don't search the entire country, just 300 miles from my house. Maybe the market for 3LT, verts with auto is a little tighter, but $64K for a 2014 just seems like a dealer looking for a home run sale.

I think the key is to remember that asking price is just that....asking price. There is often several thousand dollars of room to negotiate.

Go Rogers Corvette Center (on line) he is in the Orlando area. His cars are in excellent condition and I purchased my C-6 from him. He has (3) 2014's in his inventory, 59,900 3K miles, 56,900 4K miles and 59,900 3 k miles. He will ship anywhere including overseas.
