Curb Alert ?

Has anyone tried the Curb Alert sold by Southern Auto Parts ?
It sounds like a good thing but I am always a little skeptical.
Any thoughts or comments welcome.

Search curb alert here, many of us have done them, they work great.

Curb Alert

I have one and it works fine. The first one was dead on arrival but they shipped a complete new one with no questions asked. Curb alert when adjusted properly works great for obstacles straight ahead, you must be a little more careful when angle parking. I spent some time with the developer and he convinced me to mount it under the front of the car as recommended in my instructions. My wife managed to some how hit it and break the mounting bracket. I would recommend mounting it in the grill as a lot of folks on this forum have done.

Mine couldn't handle the car wash abuse. I just stop way short, *** end does not hang out either.

I have it and love it. However as stated, does not work so well when you park on an angle, must be extra careful.......

Works great man just after you get it in the car, Just have a friend in the front of the car so he can tell you to stop so you get it adjusted correct.

A lot of forum members here have it and love it. I personally don't have it and don't have a need for it as I back into spots the majority of the time.

Or follow the instructions for adjusting it when you install it. Its not perfect but one me cheap item you can use to maybe help prevent a distracted event from becoming major $s.

I like mine. Installed for almost 1 year. Hasn't fallen off yet and no curbs scraped. I agree with the angled parking comment.

Mine works about 50% of the time. The other 50 it doesn't alert.

Recalibrate per the install video....mine works 100 pct for two years, never miss...

I did the front wireless/trans wifi/bluetooth camera works great has lines easy to do and did it for 55.00 complete on amazon
now when i come to curb just touch phone and see the front curb the app is govue

I tried one and found it lacking. If you approach something at an angle, it won't pick it up. Then it broke so I ripped it out and replaced it with a camera. Save your $.
