Interior noise
I find my C7 seats to be very comfortable! Got rid of a Honda Accord years ago because they had a fixed lumbar support in the wrong place for my body!
In fact for my wife's top of the line large BMW SUV with many seat adjustments including front extension, took me a while to get the seat angle, lumbar support, seat back angle right so my back felt good.
With my C7 (3LT) I have the back set low, the front high, the seat back tilted and the lumbar support, which has a wide adjustment range, set just right. It feels great even better than my wife's SUV in my opinion.
If you don't have fully adjustable seats might try a wedge at the bottom back like I had to use with the Honda! Finally traded it in and always get adjustable seats now! FWIW
What trim level is your car, if 2lt/3lt there are more adjustments than the 1lt, ergo, more options.
The whining may be from the tires, the run flats are a bit noisy. More so on concrete than asphalt.
Seats in my 1LT were great. I subsequently hurt my back and could not drive the car for more than a mile or two before bailing. Seriously thought about trading for a M235i. Before making that leap I gave it a couple of months.
Back has healed a bit, (wearing a back brace as necessary) but found that adjusting the seat can make a huge difference. In my case it was putting the seat back into a more upright position rather that the normal semi reclined. Felt strange at first, but really helped with the back pain.
Does the whine increase as the car speed increases or is it constant regardless of an increase or decrease of speed?

I crank my radio and the sound sucks. Too much treble? It's Bose so it should be good. I need to adjust the bass up and I think that will help.
As far as comfort, I improved mine by unplugging a wire on the back of the seat and it moves back farther as a result. Search forum for that.

Adjust the base, assuming you have a 2LT or 3LT.My C6 needed a sub woofer, too hard to install with Bose. The C7 sub woofer is a good addition. You can set it so there is too much base. Some will argue with Bose not being a good sound system but for me in a car, it's fine. The Vette has little sound deading so playing the radio loud is a good option, IMO!

Spend some time setting the base/treble and balance.

'16 A8 2LT Base, 20 miles on it. Noticed 10+ times on the drive home from the dealer.
45-50mph, light throttle - there is a high pitch squeal/chirp coming from somewhere (high frequency like a belt or brake squeal). For sure in V4 mode, haven't verified in V8 as the throttle is so light it has usually gone into V4. Didn't think to put it in manual mode as it was first drive, will do that next time.
By just feathering the gas peddle I can easily keep it making the noise for 10-15 seconds. Let off and squeal goes away, push thru it and it will give a brief chirp and go away.
* It is not driving surface dependent.
* Doesn't seem to sound like marbles like others comment on as a common noise.
* I don't think it is the tires, as speed of the vehicle doesn't change much if I give it a little more or less gas to make the noise go away. Talking very subtle change in throttle, and happens over a range of speeds (coasting at 48, no noise... push on the gas ~5-10% and it will start to squeal without really changing speed).
* It may be the Direct Injection, but most say that sounds like a sewing machine (which to me means a lower pitch repetitive mechanical sound, like tapping).
Any one else hearing this or have thoughts on the origin? Looking for a little more than to turn the radio up please.
Not super worried, as I know it is a new car and there are things that are normal and just new to me. But I would like to better understand my new toy.
Thanks

Fortunately, my wife purrs when she rides/drives in our Z51 A8!
As for whiny tires, I got rid of the run-flats for similar PSS, and also installed Fat Mat products from seats back. My Vette is as quiet as any of my vehicles!

Whistle/chirp noise only when going from V4 to V8, does not happen when going from V8 to V4. All modes, even with cruise control.
Did some internet searching and found that the Tahoe folks with AFM seem to have the same issue (they were talking about it in 2014). They found that there is a passive flapper valve after the muffler that causes the noise. It can be held open with a cable clamp (so it never closes in V4 mode and thus doesn't make noise when it opens back up for V8) or requires a new exhaust.
I went to my local Chevy dealer today and had them look at it. Was able to demonstrate it to the service manager during a ride along. He said he had never heard it before. Corvette tech drove another similar vette to see if the noise was there too, apparently not.
They said they need to order a new exhaust and will let me know when it comes in. Will have to leave it at the dealer for at least a day, but they say they will provide a loaner.
I'll try and get specifics on which part was at fault, what was replaced, and if the issue is resolved.
Thanks.
