A couple of vendors carry the Coverking covers. It seems like I've read a few positive reviews on them. They look good in the pictures, I'd be curious about fit though.
Unfortunately, no one currently offers covers for the Competition seats (which I have in my dd C7) so I contacted Wet Okole to see if they carry them (used them in the past - great quality and service) but the rep told me they have not had access to a local C7 with comp seats to measure and use to make the necessary patterns from. Well, I noticed in his sig that he was 20 minutes from my office so I offered up my C7 to take the needed measurements. I'm waiting for him to reply with an appointment date to take my car to their shop. He explained he only needed it for about a day and that they would shuttle me to and from work while my car is there.

My concern is that seat covers will cheapen the interior detail.
Wet Okoles are the highest quality seat covers you can buy, bar none. The only better looking covers are replacement skins for your seats, IMO. In fact, IMO WO's look better than even some of the cheaper leather aftermarket seat skins you can buy.
WO's can be almost infinitely customized when you order on their website. They are tough, fit extremely well and last for years. They provide excellent protection and can be washed down if they become stained or dirty and add additional comfort due to the layer of padding. They also hold you in the seat more securely.
Plus, I don't really like the feel of leather compared to a good quality fabric which holds you more secure and breathes better. I need something on my seats in my C7 since it's a daily driver and I don't want to degrade the leather too quickly. Yes, it "cheapens" the look. But I or anyone rarely see the seats in my C7 so I opt for the comfort and protection. This is all personal preference, of course.
Here's the set I put on my previous dd Mini Cooper five years ago. have a set on my C5 but no rely good pics to post.
I use to work as a program manager for an OEM seat supplier. It has been about ten years since I worked on a seat program So my knowledge is a bit old.
I would be concerned with proper airbag deployment and proper operation of the passenger sensor. Both of these are affected by the seat cover. Material specification and seam sewing specifications are critical for proper airbag deployment. Proper airbag deployment is defined as proper airbag inflation within a specified time. This is checked by crash tests which are filmed at high speed and analyzed. I would doubt any of the aftermarket cover suppliers has done the type of testing which is performed by the OEMs.
Notice next to the side bolster of my Mini's cover - the entire side airbag region is exposed by the cutout. The air bag deployment is unencumbered by the seat cover. The seat sensors have always worked as designed - the passenger airbags were enabled even with a very light weight person sitting there.
