Haven't decided? Haven't decided which or haven't decided when?

The '77 was a base 350 4bbl V8 and coming from a VW bug I was happy. But with the C7 Z51! Well, yes, quite a bit nicer! I might still have the boots but I said goodbye to the mustache years ago. TOO MUCH GREY!

I was 25 with the C3 and 64 with the C7. Told the wife, I buy a new Vette every 39 years whether I need one or not!

Well, not exactly. The first was outside Blacksburg VA. When I got the C7 and the leaves started changing I started looking for some place similar a little closer to home. It's only a couple of miles from the house.

Thank you for sharing.
After college I needed something (driving an old VW bug since early high school) and landed a good job and since the Vette was the only car I'd ever really wanted I waited till I had a decent down payment and made my dreams come true. I certainly hope you can do the same. Good Luck!

The '77 was my DD for almost 10 years. Put over 100K miles and had the engine overhauled. My mechanic said he could see the original hone marks in the cylinder walls. I guess that's good.

Thanks to all for the warm reception and compliments on the photos.

I'm so glad I was able to find the one of the C3. Weird thing is, I'm a photographer and as far as I remember it's one of only two pictures I took of it!

Already have a couple dozen of the C7!

The when.

I think I know which C7 I'd buy as far as model/color/transmission/wheels.

Thanks, the first was outside Blacksburg, VA and the second was closer to home here in Middle GA. I would loved to have gone back to the first site but I was visiting a fraternity brother doing graduate work at VT and I have no idea where it is!

Welcome to the Forum and congratulations on your new Vette.

It doesn't look like much has changed through the years. It looks like you are still healthy and happy, you have a Vette, and you appear to be still living in the same neck of the woods.

Enjoy your new Vette.

Thanks. When the first one was taken I was just starting my work career. Now I'm retired and happier than ever! The pics were taken about470 miles apart. First-Blacksburg Virginia, Second-Middle Georgia

Thanks! Actually, the wife had a hand in that decision. When I got to the "serious looking" stage, I traveled to area dealers to see some of the colors (like
DSOM and CRM). Don't like to rely on pictures. This is the text conversation while on one of my out-of-town trips:

Didn't get that black one, as it was an A8.
