Any of the above.
It's already been leaked that GM is coming out with a new car in MY2020. It's not known if that's a Corvette or a Caddy. Then they're coming out with another new model car two years later, also not known if its a Corvette or a Caddy. In the past, GM has been known to delay new car release dates due to development issues/delays. So the range of 2020 to 2023 is pretty accurate.
If you're thinking of waiting for the C8, IMHO, don't.

the c7 is widely successful, wouldn't make sense to gm to end it's life cycle after only 6 years....
I'd estimate closer to 2022-2023 range than 2020.
i agree, but i believe in the years to come history will show the c6 was one of the best design corvettes gm made.
7.5 more cubic feet of trunk space, more confortable seating and no blind spots!

But it is so... ugly
Had it not been for the C7's design, myself and many of the "new crowd" would never have been into corvettes

I think years from now what will be remembered the most about the c6 generation is the LS motors. the LS3,LS7, and LS9 are legends.
if my memory is correct, the new 50% plant expansion in BG will be completed in 2017, as will a similar project for the company in indiana that makes the exterior body panels, so the mid engine project will probably be a 2018, followed by the c8 in 20 or 21.

They changed how they measure the trunk space, so that statistic is bogus. Seats in the C7 are far superior (I've owned C5, C6 and C7). One of the biggest complaints on the C5 and the C6 were the lack of support the seats provided. They finally fixed that in the C7. Much better support and they keep you in place much better than the C5/C6 seats did. No blind spots in the C6? You've got to be kidding. Yes, the C7 has larger "blind spots", but the C6 had blind spots too. However, I don't find the C7 blind spots to be a real issue. Adjust your mirrors correctly, put your head on a swivel (your neck), and this is a non-issue.

Eh, I think Honda has typically done 4-6 year cycles.
A reason some of the Corvette gens have lasted so long is they haven't made much money, and they had to
A. Get all the money they could out of that gen and try to get as much money as they could for the new gen
B. prolong the new gen so they would be in a better financial position to be able to "afford" to come out with a new gen, if that makes sense
So maybe thats not dead on ***** accurate, but I guess what I'm saying is they are selling like hot cakes, which is generating a lot of money for RnD for a new gen, and coming out with models more often not only keeps sales up, it keeps the product/brand hot and in the news and all which is invaluable
Maybe I have no clue what I'm talking about though
C6 ugly ? I'd hate to know what you think of a C4 or C5.
I like all Corvettes. Owned a C3, now a C5, hope to own a C7 one day. A mid engine C8 sounds amazing. About time.
I'd guess 2021-2022 at the earliest.
But I seem to remember rumors of a Corvette Zora that would proceed the C8 and compete in a higher price strata. Like the 150k range.
Don't take this the wrong way, but aside from the C7, the only other Vette I find attractive exterior wise is the C3. In fact, if it was possible to do a full interior swap + engine swap from the C7 to a C3 body, I'd drive that C3. I think I just dislike round tail lights on any car (infiniti, gtr, etc) in general.

the c3 has some serious lines, such a badass car.
since we are talking about other generations. I dislike the c4 and c5 the most.
