Road trip#!!!
Bags are packed and in the back !
Central Florida to Harrisonburg Va.
A medium long trip of 14 hrs to a knife show of a club I belong to. The 4 display cases fit great along side the suit cases and my little service dog gets to go also! He has triped in the ram truck but not in the vet but I think he's going to be just fine as also the wife who in in charge of w as e mapt and guidance along with road breaking. Have done a 6 hr drive but not any thing longer tel now... hopefully the car does great and the seat cushion don't bite my legs.
Any one got recommendations for first long trip in a c7?
I will be checking here while she showers in am ....
Kind of excited for this trip! With a bit of luck my grand daughter might be close enough to drop on !
See you all there!

I frequently do 10 hour trips in my C7..... longest trip to date in the C7 was 5300 miles. Did 7600 in a C4 a few years back.. been driving long distances in Corvettes for 26 years... you'll be fine. Enjoy the ride!

Have a safe trip - should be a lot of fun in the Vette.
Last spring I went from DTW to ATL and back to visit my son. Not too far, but it's a great road trip car, you will enjoy it. Be prepared for questions at fuel stops and rest areas; people like these cars and are curious about them. Have fun
You should be fine Dave. The Wifey, and I were out yesterday in ours talking about how the car should do great on a road trip. Enjoy, and be safe.
And yes, don't push yourself. Take a break when needed.

Still on way but speed trap in Ga will cost
And I knew Ga has been a speed trap so I dont even go+ 10!
Mostly +5 to 7
So ever more in Ga do one under in left lane
Note I don't drive in right lane due to diesel exhaust from purely maintained trucks that makes me sick with migraines ...
Sorry Ga drivers....

Be careful in North Carolina Dave. The Highway Patrol is in the middle of a ticket campaign here. Stay as close to the limit as possible.
