Congrats! you will love the car and quickly get used to the manual...
Check out youtube for hints on driving a manual, there are some good tips there...
Basically the tip is to KEEP YOUR FOOT off the CLUTCH as much as possible and it will last the life of the car. Apparently the same goes for the gear shifter.
My first experience driving a manual was on the '70 GTO I bought new and had a neighbor ride home with me from the dealership. I must have killed it 30 times in the drive home...I knew I wanted a 4-speed and was determined to do it. Once you get the hang of it you will enjoy!
M7's are definitely hard to come by. I was told 80% plus are automatics.
When I went to Kerbeck yesterday they only had 2 M7 convertibles. Yellow/Black, or Triple Black. Came home with the Yellowjacket.
Enjoy the ride. First gear is the toughest. Won't take you long.
How do you figure that M7's are hard to come by? You go, order the car, say M7 - wham it happens. M7's are not hard to come by, they're just less and less popular.
